Introduction

The National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that cultivates, supports, and promotes Asian American leaders. NAAAP offers professional development opportunities on the local and national level, engages its membership in community service, and organizes professional networking events. Through NAAAP, members work together to enhance leadership in their careers and communities.

As the largest and fastest growing Asian American professional organization in North America, NAAAP continues to provide its members with the tools and resources to further career advancements and empower Asian Americans to become great leaders and reliable employees. Founded in 1982, NAAAP has since expanded to more than 25 metropolitan cities in the United States and Canada. NAAAP members are affiliated with either a chapter or a venture. Ventures exist as chapter start-ups throughout North America.

NAAAP members include a diverse group of leaders and working professionals, with various levels of educational and professional backgrounds: corporate, small business, non-profit, academic, and governmental. Our members are Asian Americans of all descents, who work together on career advancement while making significant contributions to the community.

2008 Who’s Who in Asian American Communities Leaders & Legends Honorees Announcement - 6/25/08

The Who’s Who in Asian American Communities is proud to announce two new changes to its 3rd Annual WWAAC program. The WWAAC Leaders and Legends awards show will be the grand finale of the National Association of Asian American Professionals’ (NAAAP) 22nd Annual Convention in Los Angeles in August. Secondly, the WWAAC Award show will be televised and aired to an estimated 15-million homes across the nation.

On Saturday, August 23rd - the WWAAC Leaders and Legends awards show will showcase and recognize the accomplishments of dedicated and successful Asians who serve as role models in the community.

WWAAC Partners with NAAAP at 2008 National Convention - 3/7/08

WWAAC is proud to announce two new changes to its 3rd annual gala.  WWAAC will be the grand finale of NAAAP's National Convention on SAT, AUG 23rd. Secondly, it will be televised and aired in millions of homes across the nation.

2008 NAAAP National Convention in Los Angeles (August 21-24) - 3/6/08

NAAAP is holding its National Diversity Career Fair & Convention in LA from August 21st to 24th. The theme this year is "Leadership: Rising & Shining Starts". This year's convention is certain to be the event that everyone will be talking about!

After 25 Years, NAAAP Adopts New Vision & Mission! - 3/4/08

At its annual National Leadership Retreat (held this year in Toronto, Canada), the Board of Directors of the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) formally adopted a new vision and mission!
