Brad Baldia attended The Hill School, an elite private boarding school in Pottstown, PA. Brad received his BA in English and Biology from Bucknell University and a Masters in Public Health from Temple University. In 1995, Brad served as a White House Intern in the Office of Presidential Personnel.
He currently works as the Director of the Southeast Philadelphia Collaborative. In addition, he works extensively with Asian community organizations on a local and national level, such as the Philadelphia Mayor’s Commission on Asian American Affairs and the National Association of Asian American Professionals (Brad is Founding President of the Philadelphia Chapter and was elected in August, 2006 as Executive Vice President of NAAAP National and National President & Chairman in August, 2008).
He serves on various boards including the Multicultural Affairs Congress (Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau), the Pennsylvania Immigration & Citizenship Coalition, the Chinatown Learning Center, the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival and NAAAP. Brad is also member of the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Asian American & Pacific Islander Advisory Committee, the FBI Philadelphia’s Multi-Cultural Advisory Committee and was a 2008 CPL Pennsylvania Political Leaders Fellow. Mr. Baldia has received numerous awards for his efforts, including the "Unsung Heroes Award" by Keystone Mercy Health Plan and "National Brotherhood/Sisterhood Award" by the National Conference for Community and Justice. In 2002, he was recognized as one of the "Top 30 Most Influential Asians in America Under the Age of 30". In 2007, Brad was one of fifty individuals citywide that was nominated for the “Spirit of Philadelphia” award by Greater Philadelphia Cares. In July, 2008, Mr. Baldia was named one of Philadelphia’s 101 Top Connectors by LEADERSHIP Philadelphia.
Shan-Ming is currently based out of Atlanta, Georgia. He specializes in business intelligence and data warehousing as well as custom application and database development. Shan-Ming has worked for the telecom, retail and utilities industries previously in a variety of technology roles. He received his B.S.E in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.
Shan-Ming has been involved with NAAAP since 2004, when he discovered the Atlanta chapter looking for information dragon boat racing. He quickly became involved the following year as he joined the NAAAP Atlanta board as a technology chair, leading a redesign of the chapter's website. Shan-Ming currently serves as the National Vice President of Technology, where is responsible for strategic planning, architecture, implementation and operations for NAAAP's technology across the organization.
Shan-Ming is also involved in the annual Chopstix for Charity fundraising event that provides grants to Asian American community service organizations. In his spare, Shan-Ming enjoys hiking and dragon boat racing.
Fabian De Rozario is the founder and principal of GlobalConnect Consulting & Training, a firm specializing in developing capabilities in diversity & inclusion leadership, cross-cultural agility, and workforce engagement. Each year, Fabian delivers more than 100 speeches, workshops and retreats for associates, managers and leaders in Fortune 100 companies domestically and abroad.
Fabian was born and raised in Malaysia, completed his secondary school in Edinburgh, Scotland, and received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. He has served in student services leadership roles at Northern Illinois University and at University of Arkansas at Little Rock. From 1998 to 2006, Fabian served as the Director of U.S. University Relations and Director of Global Operations for the Golden Key International Honour Society headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2005, Fabian received the Georgia Society of Association Executives President’s Award, and in 2006, he was named an honoree of Who’s Who in Asian American Communities in Georgia. Fabian recently completed a 2-year term as president of the Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) and now serves as NAAAP National’s Chief Business Development Officer. He is a member of the prestigious Leadership Atlanta program, Class of 2011 and is also an alum of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Regional Leadership Institute. Fabian currently serves as a board member of the Center for Pan-Asian Community Services (CPACS) and was previously as a board member of the Georgia Society of Association Executives (GSAE).
His hobbies are travel, gardening and food – particularly Asian fare. Fabian and his wife, Jesslyna, reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
 Cyndy Yu-Robinson is an Public Involvement Specialist with URS Corporation, a global company which researches, designs, and manages complex projects including public transit, roads, airports, and stormwater controls. Her passions include environmental sustainability, community service and philanthropy, and sports and fitness. Cyndy worked as a government affairs and public information officer for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for 18 years and as the Asian Special Emphasis program Manger for 9 of those years. She moved into private sector as Lenovo's Corporate Social Responsibility Manager for one year, and served on numerous non-profit boards including that of Sustainable North Carolina for 3 years. Her service to the Asian community includes working at the Asian Women's Center in San Francisco, an officer of Triangle Area Chinese American Society in N.C., president of the NC-Chinese Business Association, and most recently conducting outreach to Asians and Pacific Islanders in North Carolina as part of Census 2010. Cyndy graduated from Stanford University in 1987 with a bachelor's in human biology and from the University of California, San Diego, in 1991 with a master's in international relations and Pacific Studies. As NAAAP's Chief Marketing Officer, Cyndy oversees branding, communication of new and existing NAAAP programs, convention marketing, media relations, and use of social media.
Tommy Yip is a Lead Network Design Engineer for British Telecom Global Services, a company that provides voice and data communication services for corporate customers with a heavy global presence. To supplement his fifteen-year career with the Telecommunications/IT industry, Tommy has obtained the most prestigious level of industry certification, the Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE)while leading a team of several network engineers and interfacing with global sales and account teams. Tommy graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida. Tommy is also a member of the University of Florida Alumni Association and an alumnus of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.
An active member of the Atlanta chapter of NAAAPsince 2005, Tommy has served as the 2006 Technology Lead, the 2007 Vice President, and the 2008 President for the Atlanta chapter. During his term as the Atlanta chapter President, Tommy led NAAAP-Atlanta to win three national awards of excellence including Chapter of the Year. While serving as the 2008 NAAAP-Atlanta President, Tommy was named one of the Top 25 Most Influential Asian-Americans in Georgia by the Georgia Asian Times. In 2009, Tommy was inspired to bring his knowledge and experience to serve NAAAP on the national level by serving as the Director of the National Office of Chapter Development & Consultancy.
As current Chief Operating Officer (COO), Tommy's goals are to provide a stronger sense of unity and cohesiveness for all NAAAP localities in order become a stronger and unified national organization for professionals of Asian decent. Tommy believes a strong sense of unity and cohesiveness will help NAAAP greatly strengthen its presence and influence and provide more value to its members, sponsors, and partners on a global environment.
In his spare time, Tommy is learning rock climbing, learning to play golf, watches football, enjoys movies, and experiments with ethnic foods while fitting in weight training and cardiovascular exercises.

Sherman Kong is the Director of Business Intelligence Practice at Broadstreet Data Solutions Inc., with responsibilities including management and execution of consulting services from resources under his practice. He oversees the partnership between his company and their technology provider, SAP BusinessObjects. From having serviced client organizations across Customer Product Goods, Finance, Manufacturing, Energy, Pharmaceutical and Media Research sectors, he aims to instill in members the same passion of achieving career-progression goals, personal interests and professional maturity.
With his appointment as the Chief Program Officer on the National Administration team, Kong hopes to continue providing outlets on expanding the NAAAP footprint and further cultivate long-term relationships with community leaders and groups for sustainable program offerings within the NAAAP domain. As the former Director of Professional Development at the NAAAP Toronto chapter, his main focus was toward management and execution of initiatives that revolve around promoting cultural, personal, and professional development-related values amongst the membership base through activities and programs, including innovative networking events, speaker functions, and mentorship intake. Kong also recognizes relationship building and collaboration with both corporate and non-profit associations as well as other chapters to foster new ideas as priorities. He worked closely with the NAAAP National Programs committee and had helped initiate the National Webinar Series. As the former Director of National Convention Programming, Kong oversaw the planning and structuring of the overall program and facilitated all speaker arrangements and other program-related elements at the 2010 NAAAP National Convention in San Francisco.
Kong currently resides in Toronto where he earned his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Toronto. He has been a Chinese Canadian citizen after spending his childhood in Hong Kong for 14 years. He enjoys photography and low-budget films, and has recently started learning percussion to push his fondness of the rock music genre into new height. Kong is a former Young Patron Circle (YPC) member at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM).

 Judi Rhee Alloway is an artist, writer, social entrepreneur, and Visionary Chairwoman of Huesoul Foundation.
In her Philadelphia community, she cofounded National Association of Asian American Professionals-Philadelphia and as a former Professional Development Chair, she created “Leaders in the Community” series. She now serves as National Chairwoman for Women in NAAAP! (WIN), a multicultural intergenerational leadership training program in over 20 areas in North America. Throughout her career that has spanned 3 continents; she has always advocated causes such as equal opportunity and diversity in thought leadership, sustainable agriculture and entrepreneurship, community building, and international peace relations.
Graduating from The George Washington University with a B.A. in International Affairs and a concentration in Politics/Economics specializing in Russian Languages and Literatures, Judi can gratefully tap into her wealth of experiences as a social entrepreneur, creative artist, and community leader.
Shane Carlin is currently the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Advancement at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was born in Seoul, South Korea and is a Korean American Adoptee where he grew-up in Union, Kentucky and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky in Agricultural Communications and his Master of Science in College Student Personnel at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Carlin has also worked as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) and in Residence Life & Housing at Miami, Northwestern, and Capital Universities. Working on the international scene is another area Carlin has experienced. He presented to College of Business and Engineering students at Hong Kong University & Science Technology in the fall of 2009. Carlin also escorted, mentored, and advised University of Illinois, Hong Kong University & Science Technology, Korea University and Seoul National University students for a C40 Technology and Management (T&M) Sustainability Case Study Competition in Seoul, South Korea. He also took a group of students to Tianjin, Shanghai, and Beijing, China with the T&M Program.
When Carlin isn't working at his full-time job he sits on a few other boards such as the Midwest Asian American Student Union (MAASU) Board of Advisors, Korean Cultural Center, the National Association of Asian American Professional (NAAAP) as the National Leadership Academy Chair and National Convention Director, National Association of Student Personnel Administrators Student Affairs Development and External Relations Knowledge Community Chair as well as being the first Asian American to be on the Kentucky 4-H Foundation Board, and the University of Kentucky National Alumni Association Board He is also the founder and former President of the NAAAP-Columbus Venture (National Association of Asian American Professionals). In addition, Carlin has been a public address announcer for the Kentucky 4-H Horse Show, sporting events at Miami and Northwestern Universities.
 Jenny See-Wai Lee is our Director of the National Awards of Excellence Program serving all Chapters and collaborating with them to administer the program. She is on the National Admin team, and shares her collateral role as Marketing & Public Relations Director for the Boston chapter, providing creative direction, brand management solutions, and communication strategies.
After earning her bachelor's degree at Boston University, Jenny completed the Creative Continuum program of the Massachusetts College of Art & Design (MassArt) and Bentley Graduate School of Business. She also honed her creative skills through Art In Amsterdam and International Center of Photography training.
In addition to serving NAAAP, Jenny researches infectious diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her prior biology experience includes positions at Novartis, Biogen Idec, Oncogene Science, and Phylonix.
Furthermore, Jenny does freelance projects in the fields of graphic design, communications, and fine art. Plus, she produces uncommissioned art, which local collectors have purchased. Her most recent such endeavors are abstract works of art, that innovatively evoke primal emotions.

Yelin Li, the National Programs Manager of Retreat and Convention Programming, is a second-year graduate student at Brandeis University International Business School (IBS). She assisted the programming of 2010 NAAAP National Leadership Retreat, working closely with Chief Programming Officer Sally Wang. She also serves as the NAAAP Student Ambassador at Brandeis University. She works actively at Brandeis and created different innovative ways of campus outreach. She successfully organized students group to annual signature event of NAAAP Boston Chapter when it has only been four months since she became a member of NAAAP in June 2009.
At Brandeis University, Yelin majors in International Economics and Finance. She did her internship at Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment (MOITI) as a research associate and China’s project coordinator. Her research paper of China's stimulus package supported the International Strategy Report of Massachusetts Governor Patrick. Brandeis University published her story named, “IBS Student Aims to Build Bridges to China”.
Before Yelin came to Brandeis, she worked at Shanghai office of HSBC Group (China) private banking team. She got her B.A. in Economics from Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), where she initiated the first SISU Out Door Sports Association. She enjoys camping, rock-climbing and Chinese Kong Fu.
Jean Lo was born and raised in Silver Spring, MD, and earned her B.S. in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Jean is a Senior Actuarial Analyst at The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. in the Hartford, CT area. Prior to joining the NAAAP-CT leadership team, Jean held various leadership roles in the Asian American Association at Illinois for three years and was Secretary of the Midwest Asian American Student Union Executive Coordinating Committee for two years. Jean has become increasingly more involved in NAAAP, as she was Project Manager for the 2010 NAAAP National Leadership Retreat held in Uncasville, CT and, in 2011, Jean joined the NAAAP National Administrative board as Chair of Venture Development. Jean cherishes her time spent with family and friends and enjoys playing sports, watching sports, and managing fantasy sports teams.
Beginning in 2011, Jean’s role as an officer has been extended to Secretary and National Representative where she will continue to be parliamentarian of all meetings of the Connecticut Board of Directors, but also represent NAAAP Connecticut on the National level.
 Jennifer Nguyen serves as the public relations and grassroots program manager for the Junior Tennis Champions Center in College Park, Maryland, one of the nation’s leading youth tennis programs. Having served in multiple communications and public relations roles for the District of Columbia government under former Mayor Adrian M. Fenty and former DC Public Schools Chancellor Michelle Rhee, Jennifer brings with her a wealth of knowledge about creating and implementing communications strategies for the local and national level. Jennifer graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a certificate in Asian American Studies. She received her Master’s of Arts in American Studies with a focus in Asian American Studies from the University of Massachusetts in Boston. Jennifer also serves as the Communications Strategist for the Diversity in Aquatics Program, a professional network committed to reducing the rate of drowning worldwide. Jennifer spends her free time cooking, practicing yoga, reading cultural studies books and watching professional sports; her favorites include: baseball, football, hockey and boxing.
Tammy Pham was named NAAAP’s Co-Director of Volunteer Management for the East Coast. In this role, she works to promote, identify, and fill open positions on the NAAAP National Administration by working with local chapters and ventures. She currently works for the United States Patent & Trademark Office in Alexandria , Virginia. Tammy is committed to serving the needs of the greater community by helping to connect others together and helping individuals reach their individual goals. She is currently the President of Asian Pacific American Network ( APANET ), which is the largest and oldest cultural volunteer group in the federal government. She is also admitted a member of Giles S. Rich American Inn of Court.
Before joining NAAAP and APANET , Tammy has served in different arenas of the community. She helped with the Katrina relief efforts as the Community Service Chair of Legal Service Society (LSS). She founded Students Against Violence Everywhere Youth Council (SAVE). She helped recruit and retained under represented groups into the field of math and engineering with Minority Science and Engineering Program (MSEP). She was selected to help analyzed different local policies as a Policy Intern for the Washington State Legislation. She served as a community organizer through the Seattle Parks & Recreation Department. he helped created documents as a Production Assistant with Public Broadcasting Station (PBS). Tammy Pham holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from the University of Washington and a juris doctorate from Catholic University of America. She has received grants from and is a Mary Gates and National Science Foundation Scholar.
 Emily Seto is a new product development (NPD) portfolio manager for Crowe Horwath, LLP in Chicago. Prior to her NPD role, she worked in transaction advisory, business valuation, and distressed company consulting. She has passed all three exams for the certified insolvency and restructuring advisor (CIRA) accreditation, and is provisionally certified as a New Product Development Professional (NPDP). She currently serves as the NAAAP Liaison for Crowe Horwath’s Asian People Resource Network. Emily has a B. S. in Finance with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Emily currently serves as the NAAAP 100 Program Director. She previously served as NAAAP’s National Leadership Retreat Chair (now the Leadership Academy) from 2007 to 2009. She also served as the NAAAP National Chair of Chapter Development; NAAAP-Chicago’s national representative; the 2005 NAAAP National Convention treasurer; and NAAAP-Chicago’s 2004 treasurer. She currently serves on the board of advisors for the Midwest Asian American Students Association (MAASU). She is also a past president, former VP of Education and VP of Membership, and founding member of Lightly Toasted Toastmasters. In her spare time, Emily enjoys running, cooking, improv, watching hockey, and collecting stamps in her passport.
Timmy hails from Bryant University, with a dual Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Sciences (CIS) and Applied Actuarial Mathematics (AAM). His expertise is in using web technologies to simplify everyday life, automate mundane tasks, and reduce long-term maintenance.
In the corporate arena, his skills have been used to manage sales + financial data, provide solutions for logical data storage + retrieval, and decrease total cost of ownership. He is currently partnered with Amway Global to expand their XS Blast products into the New England region, and also works as a Web Developer for Xzito Creative Solutions.
In his spare time, he lends his technical knowledge to non-profit organizations such as the National Association of Asian-American Professionals and the Asian-American Resource Workshop. He is also a frequent contributor to the DartBoston and Social Boston Sports communities.
 Jessica is a Supply Chain Business Analyst at BCBG Max Azria Group, a global fashion house with a portfolio of over 20 brands. Previously, she worked for Schneider Electric in their Operations Advanced Development Program, completing rotations as a Senior Process Improvement Analyst, Buyer/Planner, Manufacturing Engineer and Manufacturing Supervisor. Jessica is a graduate of Miami University with a B.S. in Supply Chain & Operations Management and a minor in Chinese. After graduating, Jessica moved to The Windy City and joined NAAAP Chicago as the Director of Special Events and served for two years as the NAAAP National Leadership Academy Vice-Chair. After moving to Los Angeles, she joined NAAAP Orange County as their Public Relations Chair and currently serves at the Vice President of Programs for the West LA/Downtown region of NAAAP Los Angeles. Community involvement is a passion of Jessica's and she also serves on the boards of Taiwanese American Professionals and the Asian Professional Exchange. A 2nd generation Taiwanese American, Jessica was born and raised in Ohio and is a Midwestern girl at heart! She hopes to become an entrepreneur someday and in her spare time, enjoys playing tennis, music (piano and violin), Chinese dance, traveling and rooting for the Buckeyes!
