Philadelphia, PA, July 8, 2010 – Women in NAAAP! (WIN!) is pleased to announce members of a newly formed International Board Committee as well as a WIN! Logo contest with a new entry deadline of July 19. WIN!’s vision is “Empowering, supporting and engaging Asian American women to succeed as professional and personal leaders as well as contributing to their communities and cultures.”
Eight members of WIN!’s newly formed International Board Committee were selected after an intensive search, application and interview process. The Committee has been working closely since June 1 to support on-going WIN! programs taking place across North America and to prepare sessions for the NAAAP National Convention this August. The eight are:

The WIN! Logo Contest deadline has been extended to July 19. All Chapter and Ventures are encouraged to participate. Contest criteria, art specifications, and other details are posted at the http://www.naaap.org/Programs/WomenInNAAAP/WINLogoContest.aspx. First prize includes $500 prize for Chapter and Venture towards WIN! programming and events; $125 Visa Gift Card for the individual artist; creative credit on WIN!’s website and programming for one year. The winner also receives a black and white business card-sized advertisement in the NAAAP 24th Annual Convention & Diversity Career Fair presented by Macy’s program booklet as well as individual and NAAP Chapter or Venture public recognition at WIN!’s Community Reception during the Convention in San Francisco. Besides winning honorable mentions, second prize winner receives a $75 Visa Gift Card; third prize winner gets a $50 Visa Gift Card.
