Boston, MA – NAAAP has launched a comprehensive Career Center to connect talented Asian professionals with diversity-minded corporations. The NAAAP Career Center allows job seeking professionals to access quality opportunities with corporations dedicated to diversity and career development. The Career Center also provides hiring managers and corporate recruiters access to this pool of diverse professionals.

Professionals can easily create profiles that describe their work experience, qualifications and achievements. Job seekers can publicly or anonymously submit their resumes to attract interest from potential employers.

NAAAP Chapters and Ventures across North America have begun a coordinated effort to register the membership base on the Career Center. Non-NAAAP members and other Asian or Pacific Islander (API) professionals are also actively encouraged to go to the NAAAP Career Center to search for jobs and submit their resumes.

The NAAAP Career Center provides special access for 2007 NAAAP National Convention sponsors to post job openings and search the resume database. This access to the Career Center complements their Convention sponsorship and helps to achieve their recruiting goals. Corporate Convention sponsors have the opportunity to pre-screen candidate resumes within the Career Center prior to the Convention and arrange initial interviews with qualified and interested candidates, if desired.

Independent of official partnerships with NAAAP, corporations and community organizations can access resumes and publish open positions for $100 per month. NAAAP National and local leaders will continue to actively improve the capabilities of the Career Center and deepen our relationships with corporations, to enhance the value of the NAAAP Career Center and its ability to provide better opportunities for diverse candidates.

Individuals and companies can post a resume or a job on the NAAAP Career Center now: www.naaap.org/careers
