Happy Lunar New Year! This is a very special time for Asian and Asian American communities, as Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, kicks off the auspicious Year of the Dog. Also an earth year, (the first earth-dog year since 1958!) those who celebrate the Asian Lunar New Year will ring in a period of personal growth, learning, and a healthy appreciation for the needs of others.

Acknowledging this involves providing training for a clear pathway to success, achievement, and advancement. Walmart’s training and development programs are offered through the Walmart Academy, one of the largest employee training programs offered anywhere in the U.S. Since 2016, more than 52,000 associates have graduated from one of more than 100 Walmart Academies around the country, learning everything from quality customer service delivery to presentation skills.
