Each year, Against the Grain Productions proudly awards ~6 scholarships to a select Asian American high school seniors, college undergraduate and graduate school students. The judging criteria are based on the combined strength of GPA, community involvement and leadership, personal essay, portfolio and/or video submission and personal interview.

Each scholarship focuses on different strengths that range from artistic talents to entrepreneurship. They have proudly awarded more than 55 scholarships and more than $75,000 since 2011.
