About Our Series Host

Michael Kim is a marketing expert, entrepreneur, experienced public speaking mentor and speaker, and a passionate advocate for AAPI representation.

He is the Founder of Speak 2 Engage where he has used his broad industry experience in technology innovation, operations, sales, business development and marketing management to advise high growth companies and founders. He has taught (Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business) and spoken at the University of Colorado-Boulder, George Washington University and GBMC Hospital.

Michael has marketed to Fortune 1000 companies, the U.S. Government, Military and launched a national sales division at an SaaS (online learning software) company. Two of the companies where he led sales won INC 500 Awards. He is currently on the Board of Trustees for NAAAP DC and has moderated or has spoken at sessions (Trends in Healthcare, Effective Communication in the Zoom Era and Beyond).

Michael is committed to helping individuals become confident speakers who can read and lead a room. Michael has recently performed as a stand up comic in the Washington DC area to continue to develop his speaking skills.
