Aldo L. Halim, Orange County, CA

NAAAP is more than just an organization, it’s a community. A friend introduced me to this community three years ago, and upon learning of its mission for APIs of “cultivating leaders, connecting professionals, engaging them to inspire and empower others”…I was all in. In the years since, I’ve had the opportunities to learn new professional skills-implementing them in the workplace; meet an array of wonderful individuals-learning from each, broadening my network, making meaningful and lasting friendships throughout the nation; serve not only the Asian community, but the greater community; and putting into action NAAAP’s mission and core values. Given these experiences, this is why I feel compelled to give back to NAAAP, its members, its network, because together we are all working towards making a difference in the world.
