Speaker : Dave Liu

Dave is a 30-Year Veteran of Wall Street and Silicon Valley. He’s an entrepreneur who has started multiple companies, advisor who has raised over $15 billion for hundreds of companies, and investor in multiple billion dollar exits. He is passionate about advancing new ideas in technology and entertainment, and supporting philanthropic causes for disadvantaged groups.

Dave is also a perspiring artist and writer who is learning how to draw and write funny. He studied creative writing at the University of Pennsylvania, Sundance Institute, and The Second City. He publishes a career advice column called “Breaking Bamboo,” and a cartoon series called “The ABC Life.”

Moderator: Jenny Nguyen

Jenny Nguyen serves as the Administrative Assistant for the Asia Center at the U.S. Institute of Peace. Jenny has held a variety of roles within NAAAP, including Vice President of Internal Affairs for NAAAP DC, Volunteer Coordinator for NLA, and multiple roles for the Leadership Convention including Career Fair Director, Registration Director, and a Graphic Designer. She is also the Vice President of the National Organization for Vietnamese American Leadership where she has founded a mentorship program for Vietnamese college students in the D.C. metro area. Since 2019, she has been actively serving the Vietnamese community as the reigning Miss VietFest United States. In addition, she is on the Event Execution Committee of the National Cherry Blossom Festival and is a volunteer for Girls on the Run, where she empowers young girls to be healthy and confident. Jenny received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Wichita State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Development Studies at George Washington University.
