FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

As we have just closed out one of the most challenging, but still hopeful Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Months (APIHM), NAAAP is collectively MOVING FWD.  NAAAP is pleased to announce its annual Leadership Convention by NAAAP, a virtual event, which will commence every Friday in August on the 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th from 12 p.m.-4 p.m. EDT/9 a.m. – 1 p.m. PDT. The Convention will feature five virtual summits that will include live sessions of API leaders from private, public, and non-profit sectors.

Each Friday, will begin with at least one keynote and then each day there will be a different summit of curated sessions: Diversity Career Fair & Development, Asian Pacific Islander (API) Community Summit, Employee Resource Group (ERG) Corporate Summit, Women’s Summit Federal Summit, Leadership Summit and then will commence with the annual NAAAP Awards Ceremony.

The month-long event will kick off Day 1 with a FREE Diversity Career Fair and Development Day event, RSVP-only tickets sold separately. This is a public event open to all regardless of NAAAP membership or cultural/professional background. Join us at a virtual booth for one-on-one live interviews with companies hiring now, for professional resume reviews, and for info-packed career workshops led by injury experts. Plus a ton of networking opportunities with our sponsor and other industry leaders.

A General Ticket will provide you access to all four days of the convention (including the free Diversity Career Fair & Development Day). Promo codes are available for NAAAP members, partners, and sponsors for a limited time. College students can register with their current, active .edu email address to attend the convention for free.

Are you ready? The time is now for us to come together; to collect, connect, and collaborate as a community; it is time we begin MOVING FWD. We have all experienced many, very personal and professional challenges in the recent year, from the pandemic to the #stopasianhate crimes, but as a resilient community, we are persisting, we are continuing to make progress, and we are MOVING FWD.

MOVE FWD with us this August at The 2021 Leadership Convention by NAAAP as we create opportunities to network, learn, and share in a safe and virtual environment together.
