Rebranded as The Leadership Convention presented by NAAAP , the 2017 annual event focuses on the thing we do best, “We Build Leaders” through education, leadership service, mentoring, being mentored, community service.
The 3-day conference begins with an ERG Summit on August 17. The ERG Summit is a day-long opportunity for employees and managers of diversity, inclusion, and engagement, to discuss the activities, value, and future of employee-led groups. A high point of the ERG Summit is an Executive Champions Luncheon, during which the Summit attendees hear directly from a panel of CEOs, Presidents, and Senior Vice Presidents.
On August 18 and 19, NAAAP will offer keynote lunches and interactive breakout sessions. Tracks and themes include women in leadership, entrepreneurship, diversity and inclusion, global teams.
The Recruitment Expo will run concurrently, on Aug. 18 from Noon to 6 PM.
On Friday evening, Aug. 18, all participants of the Leadership Convention will be invited to celebrate NAAAP Chicago Chapter’s 30th anniversary at an off-site event that includes water, bands, food, and Chicago’s skyline!
On Saturday evening, Aug. 19, we will honor new NAAAP100 award winners and the Inspire (Emerging Leaders) award winners at the NAAAP Gala dinner.
