Betty Lo, Interim National President 

Betty Lo assumed the role of Interim National President in October 2019.  The National President works working with the Executive Team to support and grow current programs and chapters.  

Betty joined Lumenor Consulting Group as the Organizational Change Management (OCM) Practice Lead where she is responsible for providing end-to-end OCM solution development and delivery to increase organizational productivity and profitability for Lumenor’s clients. In working with key clients, Ms. Lo ensures the successful implementation and adoption of OCM methodology to drive faster adoption, greater utilization and higher proficiency in the changes impacting the organizations.  Ms. Lo brings over 20 years of experience leading organizational change management efforts across multinational Fortune 500 companies such as The Coca-Cola Company and Newell Brands, Nielsen and Accenture leading global and cross-functional programs in communications/PR, marketing, inclusion and diversity, and multicultural business strategy in addition to OCM centric initiatives.  She has helped many organizations through transformational change, unlocking the trapped capacity for growth.

Betty was the Head of Marketing & Communications for Global Inclusion and Diversity at Accenture where she oversees the development and implementation of integrated marketing and communications programs for more than 400,000 employees.  Ms. Lo was also responsible for the development of Accenture’s global community partnership initiative aligned to Accenture’s inclusion and diversity strategy, including women, LGBTQ, People with Disabilities, cross-cultural and multicultural ethnic communities.  She also led a dynamic team that produces high impact global inclusion initiatives and programs such as Accenture’s International Women’s Day celebrations across 49 countries and over 200 locations.

Prior to Accenture, Betty served as Vice President, Community Alliances & Consumer Engagement for Nielsen and worked with community leaders, media, entertainment and consumer businesses to promote Nielsen’s education, philanthropic, and public affairs initiatives in the community.  She led Nielsen’s community alliances, consumer engagement and events activations for the Eastern U.S., the national Asian American community, multicultural advertising, Diverse Intelligence Insight Series for the Asian American Consumer and Nielsen’s Asian Pacific American Advisory Council.

Ms. Lo is an active leader in the community and serves on the national board of National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) and Asian Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIA Scholars). As a mom to an active girl, Betty is also passionate about narrowing the gender equality gaps for the next generation of girls so they can realize their full potential.

Betty earned her bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan College and graduated from the Executive MBA program at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
