Understanding Modern Day Personal Safety

 

This 60 minute webinar presentation and 30 minute Q&A provides a contemporary outlook on modern-day safety awareness coupled with individual mitigation considerations and practices. Audience members will be introduced to safety concepts and controllable strategies to avoid, mitigate, and manage a hostile and personal altercation. From navigating public spaces to commuting travel to the workplace, this training presentation will offer guidance to both establish or enhance a proactive and mindful approach in understanding modern-day risk.

The webinar is presented by Mr. Jin Kim, a widely recognized subject matter expert in active shooter and targeted violence attacks. Mr. Kim retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 2018 and is a 23 year veteran of the FBI’s New York Division.

He served as the Active Shooter Coordinator on the Crisis Management Unit and was the FBI’s leading authority directing active shooter & workplace violence preparedness, resilience and training, for the FBI and its corporate and private sector partnerships.

Mr. Kim regularly presents and speaks at international association conferences and seminars, and provides guidance and substantive training to leading corporations and businesses, financial and banking institutions, K-12 schools and higher education universities, hospitals/healthcare facilities, professional sports teams & sporting venues, hotels, non-profits, and public safety departments.
